We have been locally-owned and operating in Naples, Florida since 1978 and our work has made exemplary contributions to the vibrancy of our region through strong design, technical integrity and a vision toward innovation. As an established landscape architecture firm, we draw on a wealth of experience with Florida coastal landscapes to bring your visions to life.

JOHN RIBES, FASLA, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT / PRESIDENT

John Ribes, the Owner of JRL Design Studios, offers the breadth and depth of a career spanning 5 decades dedicated to landscape architecture.

Mr. Ribes’ vast experience in design, construction technology, and construction administration has launched the company into new areas of landscape architecture and enabled the company to implement innovative projects beyond the scope of traditional landscape architecture.

Born in New Orleans, John achieved his degree in Landscape Architecture and is a former faculty member from LSU. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architecture, the profession’s most prestigious organization and he serves on many civic and professional associations and committees.

DWAYNE YERGER, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT

Dwayne Yerger holds a Masters degree in landscape architecture from City College in New York City and has over 2 years of experience in the industry. His abilities and responsibility include conceptual master planning, planting, hardscape layout, and presentation graphics.

MICHELLE ARIZOLA MARTINEZSANTIAGO-OFFICE MANAGER

Michelle has lived In Naples Florida Most of her life. Michelle has a strong background in Office Administration. She’s received her Associates Degree in Computer Sciences from Hodges University as well as her Associates Degree in Health Information Management With a specialty in Medical Billing and Coding from the University of Phoenix. Michelle is currently pursuing a secondary degree in Business Administration from Keiser University and is new to the Administrative Management field of Landscape Architecture. She joined JRL design studios in 2018 where she has been working underneath the Tootalage of John Ribes Landscape Architect learning the ins and outs of the field. Michelle loves talking to people and helping new clients achieve their goal of redesigning their landscape. Michelle hopes one day to start dabbling in the design side of Landscape Architecture but for now is content just being an Office Manager and full time mom.
